Functional & Technical Enhancement

GUA Functional, Technical and Quality Workgroups contribute to the enhancement of the G.O.L.D. solutions through formal requirements that are included in Aldata's Product Management Process.

• The Retail sub-group is responsible for defining acommon vision of head-office, store systems and operations, as well as communications related to extended supply-chain management.

• The Logistics sub-group studies and advises ondistribution-centre operations, the physical distribution process, supply-chain planning, warehouse replenishment and replenishment optimisation.

• The Technical sub-group provides recommendations on the different versions of the software and its technical architecture, documentation issues (type and content), security and deposit of program sources.

• The Replenishment subgroup addresses all aspects of replenishment – stores, distribution centres and global synchronized optimisation (transport integration, supply chain synchronization, food and non-food flow management ...) and provides business inputs to enrich future versions of Aldata’s replenishment solutions. Quality Monitoring

• The Quality subgroup collaborates with Aldata to ensure the delivery quality of G.O.L.D. solutions, taking into account the business processes and associated test plans. This subgroup is managed by GUA members and Aldata Product Quality Assurance teams who define criteria, measure and improve the global quality of the solutions. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) have been defined to reflect the different aspects of the delivery cycle (development, internal and external tests, maintenance and planning management...).
